A charming, very old and well worn Queen Anne looking glass. Somewhat transitional as the ears herald the emerging Chippendale style. Walnut, with a pierced cartouche suggesting the Prince of Wales crest. English or American, c 1780-1820. Found in a sale at a church parsonage in North Garden, Va Some repairs and wear commensurate with age.Replaced plate.

Mirrored crest with applied decoration. An early Queen Anne form in walnut, probably North German or Denmark. Ex estate of Lyle Harrington, Mappa Hall, Barneveld, N.Y. See Antiques Magazine Dec.1961. 34 1/2″ x 13 1/4″w. c. 1740-60 The upper plate is an old replacement.

LENOX BELLEEK VASE. lovely 15″ porcelain vase, hand-painted throughout. A young lady in Grecian attire frolicks with a dove and putti against a natural background of trees and water in soft shades of blue and celadon. The vase is signed with the Trenton, N.J. palette mark in green. 1902-on.

Very elegant Royal Copenhagen footed porcelain ewer. Probably a presentation piece, as it is monogrammed with initials and date, 28/10 /87. Decorated with hand painted florals and wheat. 15 1/2 ” high, the colors are basic ground of white, with bands of creamy yellow, and glorious gilding!3 wave mark 1870-90. Denmark. small repair to base.

Rose Canton Quatrefoil fruit stand

This beautiful rose canton quatrefoil footed fruit stand is over 3″ high, measures 14 1/4″ by 10 1/2 “. It is exquisitely enameled with butterflies in a rose gold border with four reserves of rose famille peonies, seed pods, pomegranates and more butterflies. The bowl is scalloped and ribbed. The white double bordered quatrefoil center features rose peonies, flying insects and butterflies , leaves and grasses . The colors are magnificent and include touches of tangerine and powder blue.

Gilded mirror with cornucopia

One of several American Salem style looking glasses . Federal period in gilt with turned split pilasters. This one is 37″ h x 17″w and features a cartouche in relief of a cornucopia with fruit and florals. Mass. c.1820

Pair of Chinese Powder Blue Lamps

A pair of handsome Chinese baluster jars in powder blue glaze. K’angxi period, Qing Dynasty.
Converted to lamps in the early 20th c. and rewired recently, the jars are themselves 16″h.
The gilt tracing is well preserved and consists of trellised reserves, florals, windswept grasses and dragons chasing the flaming pearl. The color is wonderful and condition fine with the exception of a repaired hairline on one jar.

Lovely shield form Hepplewhite style dressing mirror . Bowfront,mahogany with 2 banded and inlaid flame mahogany drawers. Rests on brass button feet. Measures 20 3/4″w.x 10 1/4″d. overall height is 28 1/4″.Secondary wood is oak. Very fine, benchmade, 20thc.English
