Rococo Revival mirrored console table ~ Sold

A really outstanding rosewood “petticoat” mirrored console table. School of John Henry Belter. Beautifully shaped and carved, probably using his lamination process. If not by Belter, probably by one of the New York makers who furnished “plantation” pieces to Charleston and a booming cotton-rich southern market prior to the Civil war. Secondary wood is pine.
