Extraordinary pair of late 1800’s rattan and wicker rocking chairs bearing the label of Heywood bros, {later Heywood-Wakefield} of Gardner, Ma.
Unusually well preserved, and with handcaned “spider” backs, handwoven curlicues, spiral dowels, beads, and all the decorative accouterments of a proper Victorian lacy wicker piece! Ex Westover Farm, Greene County, VA.
