Oil on canvas by Oliver Tarbell Eddy acquired directly from descendants of the artist. Primarily an itinerant portrait artist, Eddy painted this landscape while in Philadelphia working. It represents his memories of a childhood in Greenbush. The sheep are the famous Merino sheep raised in that area. A magnificent painting in handsome original frame. Site size is 36″ x 50″. unsigned.
